Laboratory Technician

To work as part of the Technical Team checking the quality of our ciders and perries. To carry out packaged product chemical analysis & organoleptic evaluations to control the quality of the final product. The role also includes the analysis of base fermentation and maturation samples, pre-filtration analysis and the calibration of relevant laboratory equipment.

The successful candidate would be required to work shifts.

Full time, permanent position.

Fork Lift Driver

We are currently looking for a Fork Lift Driver for our production lines. This role will report to the Senior Packaging Supervisor and will be responsible for:

  • The loading pallets of empty glass bottles on to the line
  • Ensuring there is a constant flow of empty bottles on to the line
  • Reporting any faults to the Senior Packaging Supervisor
  • Completion of paperwork and ensuring all records are kept up to date

The successful candidate would be required to work shifts.

Maintenance Engineer

We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical) for our Production lines. This role will report to the Packaging Manager and will include the following responsibilities:

  • To work and develop the Preventative Planned Maintenance system
  • To have a good understanding of PLC's (Siemens S7)
  • To be able to fault find, diagnose and resolve a breakdown
  • To be able to prioritise their own workload to meet the company needs
  • To have previous experience in working in FMCG beverages sector

The successful candidate would be required to work shifts.

Production Operative 

This role is to be involved in the cider making process where you will be responsible for the one of the following:

  • Operating Machinery and running the Mill
  • Fermenting cider, Perry and carrying out analytical analysis
  • Operating Machinery on production lines packing cider into the various formats.

The role will require the successful candidates to work shift patterns and also work cross functionally during our busy cider making season. The ideal candidate will have Level 2 Food Hygiene and preferably cider making knowledge.
