Why not ‘sloe’ down this season with a scrumptious Vintage Rosé cocktail designed by yours truly? But how do you make it, you ask? Well, dear friends, it’s really rather simple…
What you’ll need
- Honey
- 1-2 sprigs of rosemary
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 50ml sloe gin
- Henry Westons Vintage Rosé Cider
- Ice
Method
- First, make your honey, rosemary, and vanilla syrup by warming equal amounts of water and honey in your saucepan, adding in a sprig or two of rosemary, and heating until the mixture begins to simmer.
- Let it bubble away for 5 minutes, remove the pan to cool, and then add a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Next, add a generous amount of ice to your glass, pour in 50ml of sloe gin and 15ml of your syrup, and stir.
- Top with a good glug of my Vintage Rosé Cider and garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
