Why not ‘sloe’ down this season with a scrumptious Vintage Rosé cocktail designed by yours truly? But how do you make it, you ask? Well, dear friends, it’s really rather simple…

What you’ll need

  • Honey
  • 1-2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 50ml sloe gin
  • Henry Westons Vintage Rosé Cider
  • Ice

Method

  1. First, make your honey, rosemary, and vanilla syrup by warming equal amounts of water and honey in your saucepan, adding in a sprig or two of rosemary, and heating until the mixture begins to simmer.
  2. Let it bubble away for 5 minutes, remove the pan to cool, and then add a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  3. Next, add a generous amount of ice to your glass, pour in 50ml of sloe gin and 15ml of your syrup, and stir.
  4. Top with a good glug of my Vintage Rosé Cider and garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
